Individual Therapy

Is a confidential and collaborative process that helps you work through emotions, behaviours, mental health concerns and relational challenges. The goal of individual therapy is to promote self-awareness, personal growth, and develop coping strategies to manage life's challenges more effectively. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment to enable you to improve your overall wellbeing. Each session is tailored to you.

nEUROPTIMAL neurofeedback

Is a brain training technology that optimizes brain function by improving overall cognitive performance, emotional well-being, and mental health. You sit back, relax and let your brain do all the work. During your session you can meditate, colour, read a book, or study. People report feeling happier and enjoying a more profound sense of peace.

For ages 6+.

Relationship Counselling

Focuses on improving the connections between individuals by helping them resolve issues and improve communication. This fosters the healthy psycho-social growth of all parties involved. Relationship therapy ensures that individuals can express their feelings without abuse or ridicule.

Seeking couples therapy is not a sign of impending relationship failure. Instead, it represents a proactive approach to nurturing a thriving, resilient partnership. By addressing and resolving conflicts, relationship therapy helps individuals build stronger, more fulfilling connections with one another.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy)

Is a structured therapy that encourages the client to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tones or tapping) which reduces the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memory. This therapy is unique because you are not required to talk in detail about the distressing issue. Instead, we focus on changing the emotions, thoughts and/or behaviours that result from the trauma.

If you’re new to counselling, here’s a glimpse into the process and what to expect when working with us.

  • Step 1

    Connect with us via the intake form or send us an email.

  • Step 2

    The therapeutic relationship can impact the effectiveness of treatment; therefore, we offer free 15 min phone consults with any of our counsellors to ensure you find the right fit.

  • Step 3

    Book your first appointment. We offer in person, on the phone or over Telehealth.

  • Step 4

    Start working with your counsellor. During sessions you can expect to discuss various aspects of your life. You will be asked questions, to help gain understanding, explore different perspectives and set up therapeutic goals.
