Reshmi Chandra

RCC

I am a late diagnosed autistic counsellor dedicated to supporting autistic women and girls in feeling seen, understood, and safe in who they are. I don’t believe there is a need to change who you are, rather changing our environment so it better suits your well-being. Along with that, female autism presents differently than what we have been taught and there needs to be more spaces for those voices to be heard. My approach to therapy is very relational, collaborative, client-centered and grounded in evidence-based practices.

My goal with every person I meet is to create a safe therapeutic space for your experiences to be heard and validated. Whether that is processing a diagnosis, navigating autistic burnout, managing emotions, building a more sustainable life, processing your experiences with masking or navigating the social world, I would be honoured to be by your side through it. No two autistic people are the same so my focus will be on learning about you, what your unique needs are, and how I can support you towards your goals.

I offer sessions both in person and virtually, so please feel free to choose whatever option best suits your current capacity. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit for each other. I look forward to meeting you!
