At the core of my practice, I hold a deep commitment to empathy, respect, and inclusivity. I strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and understood.
I use a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support children’s growth, including:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to address trauma and emotional distress.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to challenge negative thought patterns and build essential coping skills.
SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) to help children identify and build on their strengths to create practical, goal-oriented solutions for their challenges.
Play Therapy to engage children in creative activities that fosters self-expression and helps children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and developmentally appropriate way.
Art Therapy to empower children to communicate emotions they may not yet have the words to express.
I believe in tailoring these approaches to the individual needs of each child, recognizing that every child is unique in how they process and experience the world.
My ultimate hope for every child I work with is that they leave our sessions feeling empowered, confident, and better equipped to handle life's challenges. I aim to help children develop the emotional resilience and coping skills they need to navigate the ups and downs of growing up. For parents, I hope to provide guidance and support that not only addresses immediate concerns but also helps create a long-term plan for their child’s emotional success.
