Welcome, I’m grateful you’re here!

Choosing a counsellor is a deeply personal decision and finding someone who feels like a good fit matters. I consider it a privilege to be invited into my clients’ lives, and I approach our time together with care, curiosity, and respect. Our work will be shaped by who you are, what you have experienced, and what you hope to gain from counselling.

I work with children and youth through creativity, conversation, and play, offering different ways for them to express themselves, explore their feelings, and build helpful skills. I take time to develop comfort and trust at each child’s pace. When appropriate, I partner with parents and caregivers to find practical ideas that can be used at home and in everyday life while supporting the child’s strengths and family relationships.

With couples and families, I create space for each person’s perspective to be heard and respected. Our work may include strengthening communication and connection, understanding one another more fully, and slowing things down so concerns can be approached together. I also support individuals exploring emotions, life transitions, relationships, past experiences, or a desire to understand themselves more deeply.

Sessions can offer room to slow down, process, and feel; or they can be more structured, with clear goals and practical steps. Often, they include a little of both.

I want counselling to feel natural, welcoming, and genuinely human. Conversations do not need to feel overly formal, and there is no single “right” way to participate. I see our work as a partnership: you bring your knowledge of yourself and your life, while I bring my care, training, and support. I draw from different counselling approaches so our work can be personalized to you. Our work can evolve as your needs change, allowing each session to reflect what feels most meaningful and relevant to you. I offer a respectful and nonjudgmental space while remaining mindful of how past experiences and present circumstances may shape your life.

Outside of sessions, I can often be found with my dog, Malo, walking or hiking local trails and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. I also enjoy reading at home and playing board games with friends and family.

I offer both in-person and virtual appointments to make counselling easier to fit into your life, as well as a free 15-minute phone consultation. This allows us to meet, discuss what you are looking for, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. Thank you for being here.

I look forward to getting to know you!
